The XX International Conference on Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy (DMD/BMD), organized by Parent Project, will take place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 February in Rome, at the Ergife Palace Hotel.
This meeting full of opportunities for information is finally back in presence, which will see a large part of the international DMD and BMD community meet live: patients, family members, volunteers, associations, clinicians, researchers and pharmaceutical companies.
The claim of the 2023 Conference will be Together we are the future, to represent the projection of the Duchenne and Becker community towards progress in research and in the social field, with all the strength that comes from sharing and networking.
The program is increasingly rich and articulated.
During the scientific sessions, the most recent updates on research and clinical studies will be illustrated. These will be accompanied by numerous parallel sessions on issues related to daily life (from rights to affectivity and sexuality, to the role of siblings and more) and round tables dedicated to psychosocial aspects, with direct testimonies from the patient community and families.
