We want children and teenagers to have a space of their own to get to know each other, socialize and have fun over the course of the three days. For this reason, a group of animators will await them with lots of games and recreational activities: the little ones will gather in the Tarragona Room, floor – 1 while the older ones in the Cesarea Room, floor – 1. Both on Saturdays and Sundays, children and teenagers will all have lunch together. The animation service will be available at these times:

We also remind you that, for those who have registered, special workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday in the ORANGE 1 room, floor – 1. We remind you that they are aimed only at registered children and teens and that they must be accompanied to the room by their parents.

Friday afternoon at 15:00 in the ORANGE 1 room, floor – 1, there will be a space dedicated to new families from Italy, to those we have only met online in recent years and those who have come into contact with Parent Project a few months ago. From 17:00 to 18:30, in the rooms located on floor – 1, the parallel sessions will be held. This is a very important space for training and discussion, dedicated to families, which will allow you to explore numerous topics – you will find the details in the programme.

At 8:45 on Saturday, everyone will be ready in the Sala Leptis Magna on floor – 2 for the work of the 20th International Conference to begin. We have thought of a “special welcome” and it is absolutely essential that we all are present in the room at 8.45. The whole day will be dedicated to interventions by experts on the current state of scientific research and round tables, through which various aspects of daily life will be addressed. This year we have also decided to include Parallel Sessions which will take place in the Pergamo room located on the ground floor (hall) at 11:30 and 14:00, simultaneously with the plenary sessions (find all the information on the programme).

On Saturday, in the Exhibition Gallery located on floor – 1, you will find the Poster Session starting at 13:00. During the lunch break, from 13:00 to 14:00, the authors will be present next to their poster to illustrate the work  and to answer any questions. At 19:30 in the Leptis Magna room, floor – 2, there will be the awarding of the best dissemination work of the Poster Session.

At the end of each scientific session and round table held in the plenary session, questions can be asked to the speakers. There will be microphones in the room and it will also be possible (especially for those who follow the live coverage from home) to write questions via WhatsApp. on 342 3289199 (for scientific sessions) and on 3455597204 (for round tables).

The parallel session dedicated to Becker muscular dystrophy will take place on Saturday 18 February at 2.00 pm in the Pergamo room (floor – 1), in which the Emergency Card for BMD will also be presented.

For those who have indicated their participation in the dinner in the online registration form, we await you at 20.30 in the restaurant, ground floor (hall). It’s the Parent Project social dinner: a special and informal moment to be together, strengthen the sense of belonging to the community and have fun! We have thought of a Carnival party, so if you like, bring your own masks and/or accessories.

On Sunday 19, starting at 8:45, the work of the conference will resume until 2:00 pm, when the Leptis Magna room, floor – 2 will close.
